Well,Heaven has a new angel and my heart now has a big hole in it. Wilma was one of a kind, with one of the biggest hearts there was. I met Wilma when we both worked at Northview IGA in the 60's. What a worker she was,and because I was a worker,we clicked and became fast friends. Not having any family close, she and Russ kind of took us under their wing and when Don and I had kids, they just naturally became "Grandma and Grandpa". Now they loved their true grands more than words could say,but they always had time and love for many more "adopted" little ones. My two boys never had any other Grandma and Grandpa but them. I loved her for her talents, her energy, for always keeping her word and meaning what she said and most of all,for all the love she showed me and mine all those years.
Thank you to her family for sharing her with us and I just know that Grandpa was thrilled to see her, waiting there with open arms,a smile on his face and that twinkle in his eye. They are together and Wilma doesn't hurt anymore. God Bless you,Grandma, and I will miss you and treasure my memories of you always.
