I feel so blessed to have joined the Glawe family 4 1/2 years ago, but my introduction to Grandma and Grandpa Glawe occured in 2005 on a family trip to Lakeland, Florida. I have adored and cherished all my moments with Grammy and Grandpy Glawe from the start. The stories. The card playing. The laughs. I naturally felt that I belonged to their family and was at "home" in Grammy and Grandpy's house even before I married into the family. One of the greatest gifts that I have received through the blessing of marriage was four amazing grandparents. Although I will miss you dearly, Grandpy, I am relieved that you are able to rest in Heaven with Jordan, Tyrone, and all those that passed on before you. Although you will no longer walk on this earth, I see you through your son and grandson all the time in the way they are so loving and attentive to their wives, empathetic to those around them, gifted in telling stories to friends and famiy, strong in their faith and trust in God, hard-working, funny, competitive in card playing, and so many other traits that they learned from YOU, Grandpy! Your legacy lives on through Laura, Jeff and Bruce and will continue to live on through the amazing children that they raised or have influenced. The legacy will only continue in the children that Garrett, Britney, and Kirstin will raise one day. For that, I'm eternally blessed to be a Glawe and am so thankful to have known you as my Grandfather. I will see you at the gates of heaven and until then I know you will be watching over us. Love you!
Thoughts and prayers to the Glawe Famlies with the passing of Mr. Glawe. May He Rest In Peace.
He was the greatest!!! What great memories we have!!! Those will carry on forever!!! He will be missed, but never forgotten!!! We should all be so lucky to have such a wonderful long life that touches so many in such a positive way. We can all gather strength in the fact that his earthly pain is no longer and he is in heaven!!! Peace be with all of you.
Your brothers & sisters in Christ at Alleluia! are praying for you all during this time. May peace be to the memory of Bill. Rest in God's promises.
May fond memories of your loved one, keep you strong at this time and in the future.

Words...They just do not seem to be enough, they do not express emotion when being typed. Amazing though how easy it is to recall so many memories of our families being together. My second family, 'The Glawes', the weekend drives to North Olmsted, vacations, holidays, playing cards(the penny jar) family get togethers. Where has the time gone? Memories, not just good times, GREAT times. The Glawes and The Van Kannel's inseparable. Uncle Bill and my Dad together again in Heaven. Have to chuckle through my tears, imagine the fish stories they could tell us now. Heaven does not seem so far away, because our faith and love keep our loved ones forever in our hearts.
May your memories of your dad comfort you and your family during this time of loss.
