Judy, Nancy and Beth: I am so sorry for your loss. I found even when you think you're prepared, when the time comes, on some levels you actually cannot be prepared. I hope you have many good memories to aid you as you adjust to your new reality.

I know I have only positive memories of the Welter family's kindness when we moved to Mills Road from Cleveland. I can still see Judy, Jack, Nancy and Beth walking up to our house to meet us for the first time and what a Godsend this friendship was over the years. Bill and Betty were no nonsense but welcoming and I appreciated all the opportunities they afforded us. I have vivid memories of playing restaurant in one of the barns, swimming in the pond, riding a horse for the first time, eating raw kohlrabi pulled from the garden, riding motorcycles around the dirt track, etc. Thanks for making our time on Mills Road so memorable and fun.
