Thomas E. Winson's Obituary
Thomas E. Winson, age 60, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 at his home. He was born in Elyria and had been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville. He owned and operated a candy store with his wife Ellen. Tom was a life member of the Antique Automobile Collectors Assoc (AACA), and a notary public. He loved antique cars, going to garage sales, and meeting new people. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Ellen (nee Koviak); daughter Michelle (Matt) Kulik of Tallmadge; granddaughter Olivia Kulik of Tallmadge; siblings Peter (Debbie) Winson of Homerville, Sally Winson of North Olmsted, Ginny (Mark) Spisak of NC, Rita Winson of North Olmsted; step-mother Shirley Winson of North Ridgeville; sister-in-law Angie Winson of Wellington; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Mary Winson; brother David Winson. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held 9:15 AM Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM Wednesday, at St. Mary’s Church, 320 Middle Ave, Elyria. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
