Shirley Richards' Obituary
Shirley A. Richards (nee Marshall), age 79 of Wellington, died Monday, November 15, 2004, at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain following a short illness.
She was born September 2, 1925, in Clarksfield, OH. She had resided in Wellington since May, moving from LaGrange. She had lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma from 1974 thru 1989. She had perviously lived in North Ridgeville.
Mrs. Richards was a member of Cathedral of Life Church, North Ridgeville, and Alcoholics Anonymous, LaGrange Chapter.
She graduated from Elyria High School and Dyke Business College.
Mrs. Richards retired from Dinsmoor Insurance Agency, North Ridgeville in 2002. While living in Tulsa she had worked as a secretary at Colombian Chemical.
Her hobbies included Oil Painting and Gardening.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Marsha Daniels of Elyria and Paula Warner of Wellington; three grandchildren; 2 Sisters, Sally Shough of Bradenton, FL, Mary Henson of Tulsa, OK.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Richards in 1973, parents, George Marshall and Bernice Finch, and her brother, Walter Marshall in 1980.
Friends will be received Thursday from 3:00 PM until time of services at 6:00 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Rev. John Helms retired pastor of Cathedral of Life Church, North Ridgeville will officiate.
Private interment will be in the Ridgeville Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
