Dear Marsha & Paula, We are so sorry to hear about your mother's passing, she was such a great lady and so full of life. Remembering her as us kids grew up on Olivet Drive in Elyria, also at the races at Lorain County Speedway, she always was trying to keep us kids out of trouble, but she'd always end up saying,'that's all right we're just being kids'. I know it's hard right now, we know what you girls are going thru, since loosing my dad recently, but at least we know that they are all at peace, and in a better place then we are. I just heard about your mom and was so sorry to hear about it. We used to have such fun with your Mom and Dad when we lived in Ohio. I am sorry we didn't stay in touch after she moved from Oklahoma. I missed her then and I miss her now. She was a great friend.
I am so sorry to see Aunt Shirl go. She was such a beautiful lady, inside and out. I remember all the times we did spend together, though now they seem to few. But what time we did spend together was always filled with laughter and memories. My greatest memory will always be all the cousins and family gathering at her house, and everyone sharing stories from when they were younger (or should I say what trouble they got into!). She always put everyone before herself. And she was always there for my brother and I, especially when our dad and uncle died. Aunt Shirl, you will always be remembered! Rest in peace, beautiful.

You are both in my thoughts and prayers. I know how hard it is to go through and only wish I could be there for you both. I will always have the memories of Aunt Shirley and how patient she was with us when we were usually up to no good. I will miss beng called Frannie. It was her own special way of making me feel unique. She was as very special person and I am so glad I got to spend a little time with her when I was in Ohio this summer. God Bless you both and let me know if you need anything. I will be with you in spirit.

We are deeply saddened by Shirley's passing. We will miss seeing her smiling face at the restaurant. She was a delight to be around and clearly loved and was loved. Our prayers are with the entire family who have lost an important "link" in their family's chain....
