Russell Lovell's Obituary
Russell S Lovell, 77 of North Ridgeville, died suddenly of an apparent heart attack Wednesday, March 15, 2006 EMH Regional Medical Center.
He was born January 23, 1929 in Cleveland and resided in Fairview Park until moving to North Ridgeville in 1950.
Russell did building maintenance for United Airlines at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport for thirty-seven years, retiring in 1991.
He was a veteran of the US Army National Guard having served as a Sergeant First Class, Tank Company 145th Infantry during the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of International Association of Machinists in Cleveland, and also a member of the Holy Name Society at St. Peter Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, lapidairy work, and woodworking..
Surviving are Russell's wife of fifty-three years, Joylene Lovell (nee Smith) ; four daughters, Terri (Raymond) Tomazic, Darlene (Robert) Pardee, Annette (Claude) Marsaw, and Linda (Anthony) Phillips all of Carlisle Township; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; mother, Leora Lovell of North Ridgeville; sister, Joyce Frabotta of Amherst; three brothers, Edgar Lovell of Springfield, OH, Harold Lovell of North Ridgeville, and Ronald
Lovell of Lowelville, OH. He was preceded in death by his father Russell J. in 1955.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9PM Friday at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held at 9:30AM Saturday. Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00AM at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd. with Rev. Stephen Kaminski officiating. Interment will be at St. Peter's Cemetery where the North Ridgeville VFW Post 987l will conduct full military honors.
