Russell "Cooter" Lugar's Obituary
Russell Albert Lugar, "Cooter", 29, died unexpectedly at home in Avon on Friday, April 22, 2011.
Russell was born in Elyria on August 12, 1981 and lived with his family in Avon. He was a proud graduate of Avon High School, class of 1999.
Russell was an avid sports fan who enjoyed baseball, football and wrestling. He also loved hunting, fishing and camping, anything outdoors. However, what Russell will be remembered most for is his love for his family and friends, and his amazing smile.
He is survived by his parents, Russell J. and Mary (nee Hollingshead) Lugar; sister Brooke; niece Aviana Rose Marie; and grandmothers, Donna Lugar and Nancy Hollingshead; uncles, Chet, Tim, Buck and Bill Hollingshead.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Russell Lugar and Albert Hollingshead.
Friends will be received at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville on Wednesday from 6 – 9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 11 AM. Reverend Chuck Behrens will officiate. Interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
