Rosemary Hubiak's Obituary
Rosemary "Rose" Hubiak (nee Serecsko), age 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at her home.
She was born in Bayonne, New Jersey, where she grew up and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 2010 moving from Lopez, Pennsylvania. She previously lived in New Jersey and also spent 14 years in Tampa, Florida.
Rose had been a member of Christ the Savior Carptho-Russian Orthodox Church in North Royalton, (where her son, Fr. Robert-Alexander Hubiak is the Deacon) and St. Vladimir Russian Orthodox Church in Lopez.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, John; sons, Fr. Robert-Alexander (Sally) Hubiak of North Ridgeville, Gary (Nancy) Hubiak of Carrollton, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ann Hobbs of Lopez, Pennsylvania, Donna (William) Lynch of Charlotte, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael and parents, Michael and Mary Serecsko.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA 18614. A Liturgy will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM in St. Vladimir Russian Orthodox Church, 211 Main Street, Lopez, PA.
Burial will be in St. Vladimir Orthodox Cemetery, Lopez, PA.
