Rose B. Vopat's Obituary
Rose B. Vopat (nee Coveney), age 95, of Warrensville Hts., passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Ahuja Medical Center.
She was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of Warrensville Hts., for 6 years. She previously lived in North Ridgeville.
Rose attended mass at Little Sisters of the Poor Chapel in Warrensville Hts. and was a previous member of St. Peter’s Church.
She worked as a volunteer coordinator at St. Joseph Christian Life Center in Cleveland, sang in the choir at St. Peter’s Church in North Ridgeville, and was a Welcome Wagon Hostess for 15 years. She was a member of the Homemakers Club.
She enjoyed knitting and roller skating.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Vopat and Patti (John) Schacht both of Phoenix, Arizona, Peggy Myers of Elyria; grandchildren, Jennifer Vopat, Jacob and Michelle Myers.
She was preceded in death by her son, John A. Vopat; parents, Dennis and Doris (nee Bevans) Coveney.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10 AM Thursday (please meet at church) St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Rev. Wally Hyclak will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of the donors choice.
