Rose Carpenter's Obituary
Rose Marie Carpenter (nee Porcello), age 83, of Elyria passed away Wednesday March 21, 2012 at EMH Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Ashtabula and had resided in Elyria the past 41 years having moved from Cleveland.
Mrs. Carpenter enjoyed doing puzzles, crocheting and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include daughters, Darlene (Paul) Houck of Elyria, Sharon (Jim) Westover of Kent, sons Jim (Linda) Carpenter of Wakeman and Rory (Patti) Carpenter of Elyria, grandchildren, Nikki Taylor, Jaime Tomblin, Brandon Houck, Kristen Sexton, Sandi Houck, James Guthman, Keith Beury, Matthew Carpenter and Kaylynn Carpenter and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James in 2004, son Jerry in 1986, brothers, John and Frank Porcello and her parents, Frank and Mabel Porcello.
The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Friday at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville where services will be held 2PM Saturday. Pastor Ervin Jones, of Fuller Road Community Church, Elyria will officiate. Private burial will take place Monday with her husband at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
