Sharon Westover - Kent, Oh - Daughter
What can I say about my mom? She was my mom. She never said I love you. If you said it to her first she would mumble something back to you that would resemble the three little words. The day before she passed she gave me the greatest gift any daughter could have got. She tapped on her oxygen mask for me to raise it and she said, "I love you." I will never forget the rush of joy that came over me that she said it first. I tried not to cry because mom would always say, "Don't you cry." I turned away and thank the angels gracing her room (or at least I would hope they were there keeping her safe) for this one perfect moment in time with my mom. I love you mom, always have..forever will.
