Ronald M. Granneman's Obituary
Ronald M. Granneman, age 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.
He was born in New London and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1962.
He was the owner and operator of Ron’s Barbershop from 1967-2010 then continued working there until recently.
He attended Abbe Road Baptist Church in Elyria, North Ridgeville Fishing Club and enjoyed singing with the Cascade Chordsmen Barbershop Chorus and several other local quartets. For many years he would lead the singing of God Bless America at the Memorial Day program in North Ridgeville. He also loved to attend cruise-ins with his 1962 Pontiac Tempest.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Nancy (nee Reid); daughter, Jennie (Trent) Mays of Indianapolis; sons, Martin (Julie) of Columbus, Brad of Elyria; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Schumaker of Ashland and brother, Larry of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Lillian (nee Searl) Granneman.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Wednesday at 11AM in the funeral home.
Rev. Cal Searles will officiate.
Private internment will take place at Ridgeville Cemetery.
