Robert John "Rob" Carter's Obituary
Robert John “Rob” Carter, age 45, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on October 30, 2018 after a lengthy illness. He was born on October 24, 1973 in Pontiac, Michigan and had been a resident of Medina for 10 years before moving to Arizona in 2008. He was a 1992 graduate of Brunswick High School, where he was captain of the basketball and football teams, and attended John Carroll University.
Rob was the former President of Lighthouse Pools and Spas, and went on to own his own business, Premier Backyard Services in Arizona.
He truly loved his work, but in his free time, he enjoyed extensive traveling and was an avid sports fan, especially the teams of the University of Michigan.
Rob is survived by his longtime companion, Kari Trsinar; parents William Jr. and Dee Ann (nee Berg) Carter; brother William M. Carter III (Zoe); niece Rachael Carter; uncle Gary Berg; aunts Bonnie Blehm and Debbie Boehme.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Robert and Myrna Berg; paternal grandparents William Sr. and Freda Carter; uncles John Carter and Robert Berg Jr.
Memorial Service Saturday, November 17, at 2:00 p.m. in the Faith Baptist Temple, 34361 Lorain Rd, N. Ridgeville. Pastor Jim Barta will officiate. Interment will be private.
