Mr. and Mrs. C.,
I’m so sorry to hear about Rob. He will always be “Bobby” to me. As you know, starting around 8th grade and all through high school, Rob and I spent a good portion of our days together. Whether on the basketball court across the street, in the basketball gym, on the football field, jamming to music way too loud in his big yellow Cadillac, watching the WWF Wrestling at the house, watching Brown’s and Cav’s playoff games together, cheering on UM, working at Light House or occasionally doing stuff we should not have been doing. He was a good friend. I was more reserved and unsure about myself in those days. Rob never had that issue. Being around him gave me a confidence in myself that I never had before I knew him. He had an infectious positive attitude that I loved and it always made it fun to be around him. He was a close friend; he had an immense effect on me as a young man, in ways I probably don’t even realize to this day. I have always cherished that friendship. I feel blessed to have had in my life. I can’t imagine what you’re going through... but you my deepest sympathies.
