Richard W. "Dick" Jaenke, age 78, a resident of North Ridgeville since 1996 and formerly of Strongsville, passed away peacefully on Friday afternoon, July 5, 2013 at his home. He was born July 31, 1934 in Cleveland to the late Har Read Obituary
We are sorry to read of Dick's death. We know we are relatives but did not have the Easter of knowing your family , which we regret and would like to remedy. If we'd known we'd have come to the services. We send you all our sympathy and will remember you in our prayers that you find peace and happiness in your good memories of Dick.
I have known Dick since 2001 when I was brought "on board" with Bob Schmitt Homes. For me, he has been the replacement father as mine had past several years prior. We shared so many stories over the years about life, family, work and my trials-tribulations of being a single parent and raising my son. Through him I have met many wonderful people along the way and have gotten to know his "Pat". Thank you Dick for coming into my life.

Dick was an honorable man that earned my respect and that of many others. Dick and I shared several life experiences. We both worked for Ohio Bell (AT&T) for 33 years, both graduated from West Technical High in Cleveland and both served on North Ridgeville City Council. He was dependable and very easy to work with. He will be missed.
May God rest his soul
Dick was always ready with a smile to greet everyone.
He was a friendly man, who will be missed by many.

Kathy and I are very sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He and Pat were our next door neighbors in Strongsville for several years. Dick was one of the most friendly, considerate people that we've had the privilege to know. No doubt he will be missed by many. We offer our sincere condolences to Pat, Mark, Scott, Bruce and all family members. We will be thinking of all of you during this difficult time.
