I did not know Pastor Daniel while he was actively preaching, but I met him while attending services at Christian Unity. He was a sweet and loving man, always had a smile and was humble in his demeanor. I grew to love him and Sister Norma, as I would my own family. I am so sorry that he had to leave us, but I know we will meet again and never have to say goodbye again. I will pray for sister Norma and the family, I know your grief is deeply felt.
My most condolence to you Norma and family. Denver was a great man, always there to greet you with a smile on his face.
He will me missed for sure

Denver was not just my pastor, he was our friend and confidant..he was by our side during happy times and heartbreaking times..there were times he was the last one one to pray for us before a surgery and the first one that we saw when we awoke from surgeries..he laughed and cried with our family for over 45 yrs..the memories bring heartaches and happiness..the gates are now swinging wide for him in heaven..gone, but never forgotten..God Bless Norma and the entire family..We love you all..You are family to us.
We offer our sincere sympathy to Norma and family. Rev. Denver was a caring, compassionate servant of our Lord. We especially recall in the early years of founding Christian Unity Church, it was not uncommon for him to finish his shift at Ford and then spend all night with a seriously ill member and the distressed family. He was a true Christian, dedicated to serving the Lord, his family and his fellow man every day of his life. We feel blessed to have worked along side him in our professions and enjoyed his friendship for so many years.
