Raymond A. Brow's Obituary
Raymond A. Brow, age 88, of North Olmsted, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Wesleyan Village in Elyria. He was born in Cleveland and had been living in Elyria for the past 6 months moving from North Olmsted where he lived for 76 years. Ray was a police captain in North Olmsted before retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Army Reserves, Amvets Post 32 in Elyria, F.O.P. Lodge 25, Knights of Columbus, Erie County Rifleman Club, and Handicapped Golf league at N.O. golf Club. He also taught part time at LCCC. He enjoyed marksmanship and shooting, hunting, fishing, golf, bowling and reading. Ray is survived by his wife of 68 years Margaret “Dolly” (nee Lynch); children Ray (Jinny) Brow of VA, Larry (Carol) Brow of SC, Rick (Jennifer) Brow of CA, Scott (Sandy) Brow of Cincinnati, Amy (Keith) King of Elyria; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces Shirley (Bob), Debbie; nephew Donald; sister-in-law Lenore “Dutch” Brow; He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Marie Brow; siblings Mary Elizabeth, Arthur, Florence; niece Dawn; nephew Arthur. Memorial visitation Friday, November 5, 2021, from 10 am until the time of memorial mass 11 am at St. Clarence Catholic Church, 30106 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted. Rev. Neil Kookothe will officiate. Masks are required. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Western Reserve www.hospicewr.org, or Lorain County Metroparks www.loraincountymetroparks.com/gift.
