I am saddened to hear of Ray's passing. He was a true leader and mentor. When I joined NOPD Ray urged me to continue my pursuit of my college degree and led by his own example. He saw good where many others couldn't. My deepest condolences to the family. Rest in peace, Ray.

Ray suffered so many devastating illnesses and thanks to his wife and family lived much longer than anyone would expect. You all made his life a happy one.
