Paul,
It is over fifteen years since you passed away.
Mike and I are still hanging in here. The world has nice sunsets and lots of good people!
Rest in peace, Paul, and look down on Elizabeth and your children with blessing.
Cousin Ton
You were true Palaima stock, Paul. You did well by your family and I am sorry and sad that I did not know you better.
I hope your place in heaven is bright and happy.
Cousin Tom
Well, Paul, this is belated. As adults we did not have a lot of communication, exigencies of the moment, time and space, geography and lifes adventures and misadventures conspiring to keep us at a distance.
I do however remember the family gatherings, you were always the biggest kid there, and in later years, when I would be home on leave from the service, you were still the biggest person in the room! I can remember lots of laughter, adolescent pranks, childhood games and adventures. Fleeting it all seems, as I sit here pecking this out, almost 65 years old, in the year 2011. You've joined the family, all the uncles, all the aunts, all the lovely hanger ons we affectionately called aunt and uncle, are all with you in that great beyond....... somewhere? I hope your unique energy, and quick mind has found a place among them, and all of you are at peace. 60 was a bit young, my blood cousin, more's the pity, or maybe not? I'll be joining you all at my time, whenever in the future, which rapidly approaches, faster than I would like. 'Tis our lots? Rest easy!
