Patricia "Patti" A Eschweiler's Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we mourn the loss of our mother, Patricia “Patti” Ann Eschweiler (nee Lache), age 80, of North Ridgeville, who passed away peacefully in her son’s home on Sunday, July 12, 2020 after a seven month battle with cancer. Though we grieve, it is with great rejoicing that we celebrate her going to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Patti was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 23, 1939. She had resided in the North Ridgeville and Elyria area for nearly 50 years. She attended Church of the Open Door where she had many friends who were like family. Patti was passionate about her family and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. She loved to laugh and have fun. Outside of attending church and bible studies, she enjoyed walking, reading, bargain hunting, rearranging furniture and decorating. She was a prayer warrior and had a passion for praying for others. Most of all she loved her family and instilled strong values in her sons that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and be forever in our hearts.
Patti is survived by her three sons and their wives, Jeff and Karin Eschweiler of Avon, OH, Tom and Charis Eschweiler of Elyria, OH and Rob and April Eschweiler of Houston, TX;
grandchildren, Zachary, Alan (Kaitlyn), Nicolaus, Colleen, Olivia “Lily”, Ellie, Ethan; sister Ginny (Marty) Huckabone of La Jolla, CA; brother Tom (Susan) Lache of Colgate, WI; sister-in-law, Sue Eschweiler of Chesterfield, MO; several nieces and nephews.
Patti was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John “Jack” Gilbert Eschweiler, on January 8, 2011; her parents Herman and Marjorie Lache (nee Sprecher).
