Rob, Tom, and Jeff -- sending love and light to you and your families as you celebrate your mom and her spirit of compassion and generosity.
I am ever grateful for the friendship our families shared and treasure the memories of our yearly visits while growing up, whether we sojourned in Ohio or you all made the trek to Missouri, our time together was always the highlight of my summers. Patti always had the best stories, and I appreciated her earnest desire to listen to mine and to learn about me as a person. She taught me how to bake bread, instilled in me my appreciation for cats, made "junking" a delightful adventure, and was a tried and true friend for my mom. I loved when Patti, Jack, and my parents would retire to the patio or deck for their evening ritual of wine and camaraderie, and I was able to overhear their stories and revelries and laughter. I loved our many walks around the neighborhood and the lazy days at our clubhouse. Patti always had a smile, a genuine hug, a piece of advice or opinion to share, and was a model of faith. I am thankful for her influences on my life and will continue to carry her in my heart. Thoughts and prayers to you and your families -- Jeanne
