Pamela Westtcott aka Della May Benedict's Obituary
Pamela May Westtcott aka Della May Benedict, age 43, of North Ridgeville, died Tuesday November 1, 2005 at Westlake Health Care Center following a long illness.
She was born in Cleveland, where she had lived until moving to North Ridgeville in March of this year.
Ms. Westtcott worked as an executive assistant for several local promotions and marketing companies. She also owned and operated Dance-O-Gram and A LE MAP Promotions in Cleveland.
She enjoyed singing and dancing at community theaters and was an avid Star Trek fan. Ms. Westtcott was a firewalker and enjoyed the opportunity to walk across 14 feet of hot coals.
She was an avid volunteer and served as an advisor to the Cuyahoga County Board of Commissioners for persons with disabilities from 1995-2000 and volunteered with the Federation for Community Outreach for Ethnic Organization and Disability concerns. She also taught English as another language and American Citizenship classes.
She is survived by her parents, Gordon and Roberta Benedict, one sister, Robin Ward all of North Ridgeville and her paternal grandmother, Frances Benedict of Cleveland.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Reverend Timothy Hamblen, Pastor of Rock of Ages Freewill Baptist Church, Cleveland will officiate.
Space Services Inc. of Houston, Texas will take Ms. Westtcott's cremains for a celestial journey into outer space.
