Mary E. Shupp (nee Swank), age 90, of Elyria, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at her home, following a short illness. Born in Fargo, North Dakota, she was a resident of Elyria for the past 9 years moving from Zolfo Spring Read Obituary
I cannot begin to express the sorrow in my heart and soul with the discovery of Marys passing. I wish I would have known at the time and not be just finding out about this. I didn't get to say good-bye to my friend! She will be deeply missed. I will keep Mary and her sons in my prayers and in my heart! I love you Mary. Please forgive me for not being there with and for you!

George and Joel, Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mom. You were fortunate to have her for so many years, but it is always difficult to lose a parent at any age. I have fond memories of working with both of you at Meyer Goldberg's so many years ago. My Uncle Bill always spoke so highly of both of you. You are indeed "good people" as my dad would say. I used to sit with Mary on Dick's back porch and just talk about the good old days. She missed having fresh lemons from her back yard tree so I went and bought a giant bag of lemons for her. She was so happy she gave me a big hug! Mary was a friendly women who was full of life and she loved doing things for others. May God bless you and keep you! R.I.P.
