Margaret Chismar's Obituary
Margaret "Peg" Chismar (nee Goede), age 75, of North Ridgeville, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at Hospice Care Center at the Renaissance, Olmsted Twp.
She was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1978.
Peg was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Westlake, where she was active with various programs. She also volunteered at Garfield Elementary school and enjoyed crocheting.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Don S.; sons, Don Jr. (Elaine) of Brunswick, Douglas (Debra) of Parma, David of Lakewood; daughters, Diana Folmer of North Ridgeville, Susan Trapnell of Elyria, Cathy (Bob) Walker of Cary, NC; 18 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Jean) Goede of Oil City, PA, Ed (Pat) Goede of Carriere, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Ethel Goede; daughter, Sandra Trapnell; grandson, Matthew Chismar; sisters, Ethel Ritter, Catherine Faulkner, Ruth Clack, Jane Lockhard; brothers, Garth, Donald, Robert and Howard Goede and daughter-in-law, Dana Chismar.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 6PM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 28455 Center Ridge Road Westlake. Reverend Shurman Bishop, Pastor will officiate.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 East 185th St. Cleveland, Ohio 44119.
