Leona Sanders' Obituary
Leona W. Sanders (nee Jensen), 83 of Yulee, FL passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Quality Health of Fernandina Beach, FL. She was born December 7, 1927 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and had been a resident of Yulee since 1988 moving there from North Ridgeville where she lived most of her life. She had been employed as a machine operator for 20 years at Shelby Paper Box in Westlake retiring in 1988. Leona enjoyed travel and playing Bingo. Survivors include sons, Charles (Caroline) Sanders of Summersville, WV, Jeff (Faye) Sanders of North Ridgeville and Chris (Tammy) Sanders of Cleveland, 27 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in 2006, a daughter, Linda Sanders, her parents, Irene and Christopher Jensen, sisters, Muriel Wilson, Lori Faurker, Thelma Walsh and Marie Jensen and by a brother, Jack Jensen. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Monday, March 28, 2011 in the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where friends will be received beginning at 10 A.M. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate. Burial will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH.
