Leo Joseph Bevelacqua's Obituary
Leo Joseph Bevelacqua, age 57, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at his home.
He was born in Cleveland and had resided in the West Park area of Cleveland before moving to North Ridgeville in 1997.
Leo worked for PPG and later at R & C Auto Sales.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville and enjoyed golfing, fishing and car racing. Most of all he enjoyed horse training and was an owner of Thoroughbred horses.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Tammy A. (nee Cables); sons, Leo Bevelacqua Jr. of West Palm Beach, Florida, Michael Bevelacqua and Dominic Bevelacqua both of North Ridgeville; granddaughter, Alexis Bevelacqua; parents, Salvatore and Hazel (nee Garratt) Bevelacqua of North Ridgeville; brothers, Deano (Gayl) Bevelacqua and Tony (Candy Wolfe) Bevelacqua both of North Ridgeville; sister, Nicole Bevelacqua of Elyria; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, both in the US and England.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ian Michael Bevelacqua and Salvatore Bevelacqua Jr.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-5PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, where a prayer service will be held on Monday at 9:30AM followed by a Mass at 10AM at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Private burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
