Thank you, Aunt Lee, for taking me to my first drive-in to see a scary movie - I think only you and I stayed awake. Thank you for taking me to Cedar Point, and to watch a country music show. Dave and I went canoeing, and Dave fell in.
Uncle Porter and Aunt Lee were the first to get a color TV, so we would go over and watch The World of Disney and Ponderosa. That was so cool!
Thanks for putting out 20 dishes to eat when we came to visit late, and you said, "It's only a bite." I will always think of your coleslaw. Thanks for always making us feel welcome and your hilarious stories about riding sheep and growing up in TN! Thanks for always having canned green beans for us to take home.
Thanks for the memories of "The Aunts" getting together with my Mom who would talk late into the night and start again early the next morning, and my Mom would always end up with a sore throat form talking by the time the aunts went home, but she was happiest when you were around. The Aunts are getting together again.
Thanks, Aunt Lee, when you had your three kids, you took on three more as your own. Thanks for loving us. You will be missed.
