To Mrs. Zeman and to the sons of Coach Zeman,
I was so sad to hear of the passing of your husband and father. He was a great person with a big heart who made many of us - those who wrestled or played any sport he coached - better people for having been around him. I and many of my freinds wrestled for Coach at Oberlin in the eary 70's. 40 years ago and still the thought of what and who I am, I still include in that definition as being a wrestler. A wrestler who became a wrestler because of Ken Zeman. Hard work, competition, fellowship, and great memories were all gained because Coach always gave of himself to others. I know I speak for many others of my age when I say, our tribute to Coach is our love of the sport and the love we share with others, because he helped shape us into who we are now.
May God bless you all and comfort you in your time of sadness and loss. Beyond the pain please know that his memory brings many fond thoughts for many, many people. He was a great guy. Thank you for sharing him with us.
My sincere condolences to Kevin and the rest of the Zeman family. I remember Mr Zeman as a fun-loving personality who was passionate about supporting school sports. Please know that you are my and my family's thoughts and prayers.
My name is Amy, Emma Evans was my great grandmother and Lucille was my grandmother. I have a few fond memories of uncle ken and was very sad to hear of his passing. I'm sorry I can't be there but the family has my deepest condolences and are in my prayers. All my love.
