Keith M. Butler's Obituary
Keith M. Butler, age 72, of Sheffield Village, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake after a brief illness. Keith was born on December 14, 1941 in Oakland, MD and has lived in Sheffield Village for the past 36 years, moving from Lakewood. He was United States Air Force Veteran and was a member of the American Legion. Keith worked at L.T.V. Steel in Cleveland, retiring in 1991.
He was an avid sports fan, a collector of hats, and greatly enjoyed camping and traveling with his late wife Montana. He was very interested in world news and was always up for a spirited debate about politics.
He is survived by his stepson Joseph Carr of Lorain; stepdaughter Patty Dillon of North Ridgeville; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; niece Kitten Butler; nephews Sam and Jimmy Butler.
Keith was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Montana; parents Edmund and Kerma (nee Shaffer) Butler; step-sons Danny, Terry and Marvin Carr; brothers Edmund and Douglas Butler.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville on Saturday from 12:00-2:00 p.m. immediately followed by interment with full military honors conducted by V.F.W. 9871, North Ridgeville, at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
