Papaw Butler you will always be in my heart and never far away in memory. I loved you the first time I met you. It was over a Christmas Holiday Terry brought us ( Jamie and myself) to met his family. I was 22 or so and was scared to death. You and mamaw and all the rest of the family took us under your wing and treated us as thou we were your children. My visits with you were always warm and welcomed. Trips to DQ were always the top of the list which I Loved as much as the kids did...lol. There were many times you sat and talked with me and so much of what you said was way over my head but you knew when to tone it down and explain it in a way that I understood. You understood my Hillbilly ways cause the lady you married was just like me.. born and raised .... good oh Country Girl! Grandma taught me a lot thru the years. The two of you together were a meant to be! You Both Are Together Again and I Love You Both Deeply!
Papaw was one of the greatest influences in my life and I will always remember all the fun we had together.
