Karlie A Plas' Obituary
Karlie A. Plas, age 20, of Carlisle Township passed away Tuesday March 11, 2014 at Ames Family Hospice, Westlake following a long illness.
Born in Lorain she was a lifelong resident of the Elyria area.
She graduated from Midview High School in 2012.
Karlie enjoyed her time at Camp Quality of Ohio in Akron where she was a camper for several years, then later as a companion for the younger campers. Karlie loved to listen to music, going to concerts and dancing, but most of all she enjoyed making people smile. She also was an avid sports fan.
Survivors include her mother, Kellie Plas of Elyria, father, Scott Plas of Lorain, four sisters, Shelby, Tori, Casey and Brooklynn Plas and her little brother, Herman Plas all of Elyria, Grandparents, Dianne and Allan Gerhart of Elyria, Herman and Shirley Plas of Elyria and Linda and Fred Armstrong of Lorain along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ronald D. Darby in 2013.
The family will receive friends, Sunday from 2-5 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville where services will be held 11 AM Monday. Pastor Scott Duncan will officiate. Burial will follow in River Road Cemetery, LaGrange Township.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Memorial Fund of Karlie Plas or to the Karlie Plas Memorial Irrevocable Trust, for the education intrerests of Karlie's five siblings: Shelby, Tory, Casey, Herman and Brooklyn, both in care of any First Merit Bank branch.
