I had the honor of meeting Karlie at camp this past summer, and she was the most beautiful person - inside and out. She was funny and engaging and kind, one of the first people to open up and hang out with me on the very 1st night of camp, and she made me feel so welcome and appreciated for my first year at CQ. Such a truly special girl. Karlie, you will be so missed. We love you.
Karlie I've known you since you were little, but always seem to be living out of state. So I ended up watching you grow into an amazing women on Facebook. You've become my hero and warrior. Always with that smile, faith, positive attitude and strength. God had other plans for you now. In my eyes to watch over others your age with cancer. I will always keep you in my heart and am not going to say goodbye, but will say see you again. With all my love and hugs.

karlie there is so many memories I have that bring a smile on my face daily...you gave so much joy to so many people..i could say so much but I would be on here forever,and so ill just say that even when you were in pain you never complained..you still made me laugh,,i remember when it was your moms birthday and your mom and I were in school and you called me to come help keep your brothers and sister in line because you wanted to make the house nice and clean up but they wernt listening to you..i left school and came over and you were home from the hospital 1 day and yet you put aside your pain to make your moms birthday perfect..you made her a cake and made her special day wonderful..karlie this is who you were and God knows your heart was gold.....as much as we will miss you,i know you are with the Lord pain free and happy..we cant be selfish because God called you home and I know I will see you again and I will carry that hope with me,,,i thank God you were in my life and you and your family are so dear to my heart....I know you worried about your family but they will be ok because they know God called you home and they will see you one day also..i love you karlie and I will never forget you and the happiness you brought to so many..till we meet again
I first meant Karlie this past summer at Camp Quality, the thing that I remember most about her, is her smile, laughter and the beautiful person she was inside and out! She is pain free, disease free and flying high with the Angels!

Karlie, where does everyone begin to tell you what you meant to them. I know I am at such a loss for words. I'm so sorry that cancer is what brought our families together, but I wouldn't change getting to know you for the world. You are such a bright light to all that know you and your flame will continue to burn bright in all of our memories. I'm so glad that when we got to see you and your mom last month at CCF that you were so giddy and full of craziness. I remember telling everyone what a hard and silly time you were giving me in the elevator! Oh my what a hoot you were that day : ) I know you are up there flying high among the Angels sweet girl. I take your loss in knowing that we all have a very special Guardian Angel as well as all the kids you will take under wings who continue to fight this horrible monster. KARLIE was a very strong person i have met i never seen her cry til last month she was a fighter and she showed me how to be strong as i myself been battling cancer im going to miss seeing her smile in group REST IN PARADISE KARLIE GONE TO SOON UR WILL TRULY BE MISSED
