John and I would talk together when the residents in Porter Pavillion, Avon Oaks, had their lunch. Lunch was with his wife Millie and my mother, Julia. John would tell those jokes with such a straight face you never knew when it was a story or a joke! I enjoyed his company.
Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let perpetual light shine on him.
My deepest sympathy to the Demyan family. I know that John always looked forward to the fall season for hunting which he did with my brother Jerry in years past. Dear John, it has been a privelage to have known you. I started out as a caregiver with you and Millie and after these few short years, we have become more friend and family. I always enjoyed hearing stories about your time in the navy. I will never forget your wonderful sense of humor. I have so much Love and Respect for you. And oh how I miss your mom and dad, they were very, very special grandparents to me. Many good memories of times with them.
Thanks John for all you did for the LaGrange Lions. I know it was a drive for you, but you always made it to the meetings and to our events. You will be truly missed.
