John Christopher's Obituary
John Christopher, age 74, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake from a sudden illness.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1986 moving from North Olmsted.
He worked as an in-house truck driver for Chevrolet, retiring in 2007 after 41 years.
John loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and attended Sturgis every year. He also enjoyed working on cars.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Christine Nemeth, son, John “Jay” (Bridget) Christopher of North Ridgeville, stepchildren, Marcie (Ryan) Handley of Amherst, Douglas (Christina) Schwind of Wyoming, grandchild, Sean Christopher of North Ridgeville, step grandchildren, Natalie and Michael Handley, Alexandra and Anna Schwind, brothers, Tom (Deborah) Christopher of Sheffield Lake, Michael (Gayle Doak) Christopher of Brooklyn, sisters, Joanne (David) Christopher Gray of Texas, Noreen Burkett of Michigan, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy (nee Herzog) Christopher Jr.
Friends may call Saturday from 4PM-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
