I worked along side with John for 35 years. John was a trustworthy friend.
I can say with certainty, he was very well liked and respected. He was smart and talented: he shared his knowledge freely with others. He was always kind, always letting you know he cared when you suffered a loss. John was helpful to all. He never looked down on anyone.
John was also very funny and could make any day better, any job more enjoyable, just by being there.
He came across as being a private individual, but he was a genuine, decent guy: the real deal, an honest, ethical, God fearing man.
He often worked with young, highly talented Engineers. John had an enthusiasm that caught on with young people: they instantly admired and appreciated him.
I will miss my wonderful friend. We shared some great times and struggles together. I treasure my memories of him.
He loved his family and was a good son and brother. I kidded him at times that I was jealous that he had sisters. My condolences and prayers to his family.
