I just found out about Joe and I cannot tell you how sorry I am. So many memories began to flood back at me and I can remember a caring and terrible funny man. I know how much he meant to all of you and I can truly understand your loss and saddness. I'm sorry that he was in pain during the end, but I remember him as a strong, yet stubborn man with a wonderful heart. My prayers are with all of you.

It deeply saddened me to hear of the loss of Joe. He was one of the nicest guys around and a true gentleman in every sense of the word. I work for Continental Airlines and had the pleasure of getting to Joe in early 1994 and till the last time I saw him, he had a smile on his face and a kind hello to me. I will truly miss seeing his face at the airport!! My heart goes out to each and every one of his family, just know that he will be in my prays!! Always, Jackie
