My prayers to Joanne's family and loved ones. She loved her family, so proud of her children and grandchildren!! I will miss having her sit with our family at church!! I will miss our deep conversations. I will miss the "What's Up Girlfriend?" She said she'd never forgive me for making her watch "The Passion" at my house last Easter! LOL I think she was glad to have watched it, though. Her Faith was inspiring! I have no doubt she's with God and that she's found a true peace we can't find here. I'll always feel that our family now has a another saint that knows us personally that will be praying for us and looking out for us. A HUGE hug to you, Joanne!
Joanne it was an honor to share grandmothering with you and to share in so many family events and quiet moments with our babies, or to just sit and talk with you. You were and will always be an inspiration by your example of love for family and faith in God. You will be missed Joanne. There will not be a holiday or birthday celebration where your absence will not be felt. I am so glad we got to be friends. I will always cherish the times we spent with our respective and shared families.
My sincere condolence for the Resko and Whitten Families.
Joanne was a very special person who made an effort to say hello whenever she saw me. We have know each other since grade school at St Peters. I remember the last time we spoke, it was at church and she had the best attitude. She spoke of being a grandmother and about her fight of this ugly decease. She has been a great example of what we should all try to be. She had a great love for God and for her family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, and may she rest in peace.
My sympathy to your family - I am so sorry for their loss. I truely considered Joanne to be my friend. We always went to The Fest together - I will never do that again without many memories of her. She was the most upbeat, positive person that I have ever known. I will surely miss her - but I am comforted to know that she is in the presence of our Savior! Love you and miss you girlfriend!
Joanne was always so happy and cheerful. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. Joanne, I will miss you; but know that you are in God's loving arms.

Joanne - You will be missed dearly. I am sorry for all your friends and family. You were so good at the relay. I miss you, every time I saw you were always smiling. You were a great person to be around. This is like a bad dream that you would think that would not happen for a while and i REALLY miss you. I had such a good time selling cabbage and noodles with you. I will think of you always!
JOANNE EVERY TIME I THINK OF YOU I THINK OF THE SMILING AND WALKING UP PUTTING YOUR ARM ON MY SHOULDER AND SAYING WHAT'S UP GIRLFRIEND. I AM PRAYING REALLY HARD FOR FAMILY ESPECIALLY FOR MOM WHO I KNOW WAS YOUR BEST FRIEND. YOU HAVE LEFT A PIECE OF YOU BEHIND IN MY HEART AND I THANK GOD FOR ALLOWING YOUR BRIGHT SMILE AND FERVENT BELIEF IN HIM TO CROSS MY PATH IN THIS JOURNEY OF LIFE. THANKS FOR WALKING WITH ME FOR A WHILE. LOVE YOU
