James Tabor's Obituary
James F. Tabor, age 72, of Elyria, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Center Ridge Health Campus, North Ridgeville, following a short illness.
He was born in Nemours, West Virginia and had been a resident of Elyria since 2007 moving from North Ridgeville. He previously lived in North Olmsted.
James had worked in the shipping department for General Motors Fischer Guide Plant in Elyria.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville where he enjoyed helping in the St. Peter's garden.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Louise; son, James (Tammy) Tabor of Olmsted Falls; daughter, Christine (Joseph) Perez of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, James and Barry Tabor, Taylor and Rachel Perez, Jessica (Andrew) Covey; great-grandchildren, Abigail and Madison; sister, June Masmar of Florida; twin brother Charles "Buddy" Tabor of Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Tabor; mother, Hilda Cover and brother, Wayne Tabor.
Friends may call Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of prayer services at 9:30 AM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. A 10:00 AM Mass will follow at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd. Rev. Bob Franco, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
