Howard R Schultz's Obituary
Howard R. Schultz, age 91, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville the past 45 years.
Mr. Schultz served in the US Army during WW II earning the Silver Star Medal, Purple Heart Medal and Two Bronze Stars. He was a member of VFW North Ridgeville Post 9871, where he served as a past Commander and Quartermaster. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Military Order of the Purple Heart.
He worked as a tool maker for General Sheave in Cleveland for 35 years, retiring in 1989.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria (nee Campbell); daughter, Karen (Charles) Schultz-Moller of Australia; step-daughters, Mary Anne (Phillip) Duncan of Elyria, Patricia (Lynn) Wrinkle of Chattanooga, TN; step-sons, William (Sonja) Cheh of North Ridgeville and Daniel (Cathern) Fink of Elyria, ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and one sister Eileen Bland of Indiana, PA.
He was preceded in death by a wife, Anna; son, Howard Robert Schultz Jr. in 1995; his parents, Fred and Clara Schultz, three brothers and three sisters.
Private burial will take place with his in Ridgeville Cemetery.
