Helen Jane Brown's Obituary
Helen Jane Brown (nee Schneider), age 82, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
She was born in Baltimore, Maryland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1992 moving from Rocky River.
Helen worked as a mail sorter for Weekley’s Mailing Service for many years.
She was a member of St. Julie Billiart Church in North Ridgeville, a life member of VFW Post 9871 Auxiliary in North Ridgeville.
She loved crocheting blankets and would donate them to various organizations.
Survivors include her children, Cynthia Mortensen of North Ridgeville, David (Cindy Cykman) Mortensen of Cleveland, Carol (Gary) Brown of Streetsboro, Kenneth (Jackie) Brown Jr. of Reminderville, Susan (Jim) Phillips of Hudson, Wisconsin, Robert (Debbie) Brown of Streetsboro, 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, sisters, Ann (Jeff) Campbell of Arizona and Mary Lou Dixon of Rocky River.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, son David Brown, parents, George and Mabel Schneider, sister Virginia Ditzel, and a great grandson.
Friends may call Monday, December 1, 2025 from 9:30AM until the time of prayer services at 10:30AM at Bogner Family Funeral home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. N. Ridgeville followed by 11AM Mass at St. Julie’s Church, 5500 Lear Nagle Rd., North Ridgeville. Fr. Bob Franco, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will take place later at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
