Helen Brown was a blessing to my family and to so many others. Although she first came into our lives as my father’s caregiver, she soon became a close and trusted friend to our family. From daily drives to doctor’s appointments and food runs to small trips with us to Port Clinton and Put-in-Bay, she supported us in countless ways. She was also present for our family during my own retirement from the Air Force. The story of Helen’s kindness is one shared repeatedly by many others across the North Ridgeville area and beyond. Her heart was enormous, her love for others profound, and she never asked for anything in return. In many ways, she was truly an angel on this earth, looking out for anyone who was in need. We are forever grateful for all she gave, and we will miss her deeply.
