Gregory Adkins' Obituary
Gregory L. Adkins, age 53, of Eaton Twp., passed away Monday, March 25, 2013, at New Life Hospice Residential Center of St. Joseph in Lorain.
He was born in Cleveland and was a lifelong resident of Grafton.
Gregory was the owner and operator of Gregory Adkins Trucking Company for 35 years.
He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed restoring antique cars and racing at the Lorain County Speedway. He was a person who enjoyed being in the great outdoors, hunting and camping.
Gregory was an easy going and humble person who loved being with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Barb (nee Bolin); daughters Morgan and Kelsey Adkins both of Grafton; parents, William and Lucille Adkins of LaGrange; brothers, Gary (Dawn) of Kentucky, Glenn of Elyria, Gerald of LaGrange, Gene (Jessica) of Elyria; sister, Michele Stephens of Elyria; brothers -in-law, Jimmy (Amy) Morris of Homerville, Ray (Carrie) Bolin of Grafton; sister-in-law, Patricia (Steve) Duquette of Florida; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Jeremy Adkins; grandparents, Alma and William Adkins, Dora and Elmer Dotson.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Thursday at 11AM in the funeral home. Rev. David Dake will officiate.
Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Twp.
