Gayle E. Webber's Obituary
Gayle E. Webber (nee Edgar), age 75, of Elyria, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 11, 2026.
She was born and raised in Elyria, spent 25 years on her farm in Wakeman before returning to Elyria in 2015.
Gayle worked as a paraprofessional for Elyria City Schools for 28 years, where she especially enjoyed working with Special Olympics, retiring in 2022.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Elyria. She enjoyed watercolor painting, gardening, her grandchildren, vacationing at the beach and collecting chicken figurines.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Dan, children, Danielle Webber of Bellefontaine, Patrick (Heather) Webber of Wind Gap, Pennsylvania, Becky (Brian) Martin of Avon, David (Amanda) Webber of Bay Village, Mark (Karla) Webber of San Tan Valley, Arizona, 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brother, Bob Edgar of Elyria, sisters-in-law Mary Jane Edgar and Martie Emling.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lester and Leona (nee Clement) Edgar, brothers Dale, Frank and Don Edgar.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held 10:30 AM Friday followed by 11 AM Mass at St. Mary Church, Elyria. Rev. Charles Diedrick, Pastor will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
