I was so sad to get the news of Gayle's graduation into the arms of Jesus and that I would not be able to make it to her service. I have so many awesome memories of being with her and her brothers growing up. The one memory that will always be in my heart is when she along with Frank, Dale, Lora and Charles emptied a huge jar of Vicks Vapo Rub in my hair. I will never be able to pass a container of Vicks without thinking of Gayle (and the others) and smile. I didn't have a cold for over a year. Then there was the time they put Katherine and I in an wardrobe and turned it with the doors toward the wall and pushed it against the wall. She was also one of those who helped make the reunions fun. I will also miss our dinners together ever summer. She will be deeply missed. Now reunited with Aunt Leona, Uncle Lester, Dale, Frank, and Don. See you in Glory Gayle, you bring the Vicks.
