Our families have been connected for many years.My mom, Gertrude Worcester, spent time living with Fran's family before she was married and made Frances' christening dress when she was a baby when they lived in Cleveland-as I understand,Frances still has it.That being said, the Holtwicks have been schoolmates of mine and my family many years back.I enjoyed Frances' humor and her special way of telling her experiences with that humor. John-always a hug at the Senior Center-he was the best. My prayers are with all of the family, Penny,Carol, John and Joyce and all that I didn't have the pleasure of knowing. It's hard to lose a mother but they are always with us and I'm sure Frances has earned her way to Eternal Life.Love, Marge Lesnick

To all Gilgenbachs and to Mary Zacharias and Fran's other sisters: I received the news of Fran's death and want to share my condolences to each one of you. I saw Fran last in 1987 (so long ago) in Elyria at a family reunion. It was a happy day and Fran was there with John. I miss all my long time cousins and wish you all well. Dear John and Carol:
Boy, did the memories roll back in with the passing of Fran! My weekend was full of both laughter and tears as I thought of those times so long ago. What a wonderful and fun time we had "back in the day". It was 29 years ago that we worked at the Cabin, but those are some of the warmest memories I have, thanks to your Mom. Hard work with lots of laughs and fun is how she operated and we all loved her. Your Mom was a very special person, but you know that!

Carol, John and Penny: I just heard this morning about Fran's passing, and my heart goes out to all of you. She was a wonderful lady and will be very missed by all who knew and loved her. I truly believe she loved giving KC and I the grief we deserved for some of our shenanigans at the old Log Cabin - almost as much as we enjoyed pulling them! I know that she and my dad are laughing over some of the great times that were had "back in the day".

John and Fran's entire family,
We are so very sorry for your loss. We would have been there tonight, except the fact, we don't get the paper and found out too late. Fran was one of our dearest friends, we will miss her terribly. I'm sure as Bobby combines the fields this fall, Fran will be right beside him in the combine just like she enjoyed so much. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about your lose. I tried to come and visit you at the funeral home, but I just am not able to stand for very long. There were a lot of people lined up to give condolences to you and your family! I know how hard it is to deal with the lose of your mother. My mother passed away almost 2 years ago now, and it is still hard. but it does get better with time! I would like to send you a card but I don't have your address.
