On behalf of my dear mother, my daughter Connie and son, Kyle, I would like to thank all of those who have expressed their sympathies, love and concern for each of us. Eva was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, friend and co-worker. She was loving, caring, sympathic and loved life and our dear Lord and Savior. I know that she is with him now and smiling down on all of us. May she rest in peace and may the grace of God give each of us the strength and courage to carry on with our special memories of her in our hearts.

Thank you all for being so special to her and to our family during this time of healing.

Dearest Carol Jaen and Richard (Dicky), My heart breaks for you with the loss of your beloved mother. have the memories of her,Dick, you children and all the gang. we had such special times together, she was always such a special LADY'. loved teasing her about her"almost" Italian pizza she made,Being Italian I could tease her about it , and it was soooo good!! I had the pleasure of seeing her when she showed up at my sister Josephine's funeral a few years ago. We just never had enough time to talk about wonderful old times. I have movies and pictures of her with her motorcycle hat on, if you would like them I will search them out. I would like to express my sympathy to the Eva Markel family in their time of great loss. I did not know Eva well, but I did know Richard for many years through my brother Bill. Losing a Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and/or Aunt is always very hard, but if they did not have to suffer long, it is really a blessing for everyone involved. I am sure she will be terribly missed by her Family and all her friends.

To Richard, Carol & Emily,

We want to express our sympathy to you and the rest of your family. Eva was much loved by all of us in the North Ridgeville Church of Christ and we are grieving with you this week. Please call 458-5768 if there is anything we can do for you to help you in this difficult time.

We would like you to know that we had two families visit us in our worship services this past Sunday who came to hear about Eva. Shelly Hardin came with Chloe and her parents. I think you all know Shelly. Iva, Jeff and Michael Pratt also came. They knew Eva in the Lorain church. Shelly and her parents were planning to try to see Eva until she heard that she was very ill.

It has been so good to get to know the three of you. Eva was so proud of you and your names were mentioned often. We hope your good memories of her will sustain you in difficult days.

You gave Eva good care in her last difficult time. We thank you for that.

Now be sure to let us know if we can help you in any way. Several people have asked us what they could do. We think you need space to handle things in the way that is best for you but we are here if you need us.

We were so sorry to hear about Eva's passing. We were neighbors of hers in Muirwood. She was such a happy and delightful person. I am from the Northridgeville, Church of Christ. I didn't get to know eva, that much. Because I have not been there that long. But what I did see of her was a smile all the time and a very faithfull christian. And a good example to all. Even while she was not feeling well. We will miss Aunt Eva very much. We are happy to have such wonderful memories of her. She was a wonderful person. Always smiling even through the toughest times in her life. Aunt Eva was also a wonderful cook.....loved her cookies and zuccini bread!!! Maybe now she's making them in heaven *_* (smiles) We really did love you Aunt Eva, but now it is your time to be with Jesus. Amen and Amen. To Carol and Ritchie, I pray the Lord be with you both.
