You don't grow up in N. Ridgeville playing baseball in the 70's, 80's, and 90's and not know Ed Grochowski. He should forever have his seat at Palmer field, diamond #3, half way down the left field line. I hope, in the off seasons, they are playing baseball on the diamonds in the sky, 24/7. I'm glad we were friends. He made a difference.
I'm an employee at the Legal Aid Society of Lorain County & we've known Mr. Grochowski for some time. He was a wonderful person and we all liked him. He was one of our favorite "clients" - he was always so cheerful & full of laughter. I guess I kind of had a special place in his heart because I'm Italian - he told me his wife was Italian. I was heartbroken to see the obituary. God bless.
