To my old dear friends... I was so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. My fondest memories of childhood and East Dr. include Doug (baseball and Army)and that's where he shall remain.. in my fondest memories. Rest in peace - until we meet again.

To all the Hines family, I new and ran with Doug in High School. I think of those times often and they always make me smile. I remember when we all talked about dropping out of high scool and enlisting, well they finished and I signed up for the draft...I wasn't the smart one of the group.

My deepest sympathy and sadness on the loss of Doug.
I remember him as a young man (time does fly), riding on the back of his motorcycle (which I still have the mark on my leg to prove it), and when he came home on leave.
