Dorothy A. Pastine's Obituary
Dorothy A. Pastine (nee DeSantis), age 88, of Elyria, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain. She was born in Masontown, WV and has been a resident of Elyria since 1961. Dorothy worked as a beautician at Gertrude’s Beauty Shop on 2nd St. in Elyria, in the 1960’s. She also worked as a custodian at Chestnut Ridge Baptist for 15 years, before retiring in 1993. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, flower gardening, and being active at Chestnut Ridge Baptist.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters Loree Beth (Terry) Tierney of Harrison Twp., MI, and Kelly Renea Warner of Elyria, granddaughters Kayla Tackett, Ashley (Zachary) Logan, and Courtney (Conner) Smart, great-grandchildren Karter, Coen, Fletcher, Daniel, Lucas, Erin, and Elsie, sister Helen Louise (George) Krynicki of Reedsville, WV, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her Husband James N. Pastine, parents Elsie F. (nee Shaffer) and Felice DeSantis, sister Mary Catherine Mason, and brothers James Lee DeSantis and Arthur Glenn DeSantis.
Services will be private.
